Chip
Chip, the investing and savings app, launched their first TV advert on Boxing Day 2021 with an ambitious OOH campaign to follow in early 2022. As part of a small brand design team working directly alongside marketing, I created social content, print campaigns, and motion graphics; often translating complex financial concepts into accessible visual communications.
OOH Challenge
With just 72 hours from the TV advert shoot to final artwork delivery, the team needed to move fast. We prepared layouts before receiving imagery, using sketches to expedite the design process and ensure we could hit the tight deadline.
My Role:
I created all final print files for the JC Decaux TfL campaign and developed After Effects animations for digital billboards at Waterloo and Liverpool Street stations.
This involved adapting upright poster designs to various landscape formats and working with JC Decaux’s technical specifications. The biggest challenge was developing the visuals for Waterloo stations (now retired) 3x40m long screen.
Day to Day work
Beyond the OOH campaign, I produced regular social media content using vector illustrations, collage techniques, animation and photography. Navigating technical language around savings and investments to create engaging, educational posts for Chip's audience.
Make it stand out.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
